Shay Eastman, an officer of the Interact Club, led a creative and impactful community service initiative to raise awareness for breast cancer. 

Shay organized volunteers to place pink plastic flamingos on residents’ lawns throughout the community, sparking conversation and encouraging support for the cause.

All funds raised through the effort were donated to Mondays at Racine. This cancer support charity provides free services every Monday, including hair treatments, massages, and emotional support for individuals undergoing cancer treatment. 

The initiative combined awareness, compassion, and tangible support—making a meaningful difference for those in need.
