Islip Middle School

I hope that you are enjoying a fun, safe and restful summer. As the new Principal of Islip Middle School, it is my absolute pleasure to share how honored I am to serve the Islip community. I have had the privilege of working in the Islip School District for the past eighteen years, as a teacher of English, High School Dean, and High School Assistant Principal. Throughout that time, I have been inspired by the dedication and spirit of our students, families, and staff. It is a true honor to lead Islip Middle School in this new role and continue working in partnership with this incredible community.

Our school’s crest features the words “welcoming, connecting, and learning”, reflecting the work we do to ensure students feel at home in our school, building meaningful relationships, and growing as curious learners. One of the most important elements of student success is a sense of belonging; when students feel seen, heard, and valued they are more confident and motivated to learn. As an educator, I strive to help cultivate a school environment where every student is empowered to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. 

I am excited to get to know you and your children in the months ahead. Our Middle School team is looking forward to welcoming the 6^th, 7^th and 8^thgrade students back to school in September, continuing to foster connections and meaningful learning experiences.
